Description

The Hercules Cluster (Abell 2151) is a cluster of about 200 galaxies some 500 million light-years distant in the constellation Hercules. It is rich in spiral galaxies and shows many interacting galaxies. The cluster is part of the larger Hercules Supercluster, which is itself part of the much larger Great Wall super-structure.--Wikipedia

Conditions have been pretty bad here lately. This was shot with extremely poor conditions. Luminance was shot in off and on heavy fog and RGB was with high thin clouds. With 2 weeks left in the month of May we had already set the monthly record for rainfall. We are also 3" shy of the record for any month since record keeping began here in 1882. Yeah...lots of rain.

I was also disappointed to see the bad corners. The individual subs looked good. I think this is from bumping my camera and not field rotation, but still will check the polar alignment just to be sure. Still thought it was a cool enough image to post. Hoping to see clearer skies soon. Right along with the Full Moon again. :|
